About Far From Normal
Far From Normal Enterprises was founded in 1994 in a small space in Moorhead Minnesota. Shortly after founding, we needed a bigger space which leads us to Fargo North Dakota a few short miles away. With this new huge warehouse, 1000 sq ft, lol, we started supplying the local sign shops. Luckily, the space we rented was able to be expanded as our customer base grew and needs for more space increased. For the next several years we slowly took over the entire 10000 sq ft of space at 310 NP Avenue packing every inch of space we could with the supplies our customers needed most.
Several years later, another expansion was needed due to the successful shops in our region so we decided to move. Have you ever tried to move 10,000 sq ft of sign supplies and the components to store those supplies? Well, the move was a breath of fresh air. A new warehouse space in the Fargo Industrial Park offered 14,000 sq ft of warehouse space and another 6000 sq ft of office and showroom. This location would allow us to expand our product offering and product lines.
In 2005, we decided to "Branch out." Our new location was chosen in the Sioux Land Region better known as Sioux City Iowa, South Sioux City Nebraska, and North Sioux City South Dakota. This addition brought 20000 sq ft of warehouse and office space to help us cut down transit times to South Dakota, Nebraska, and Iowa customers.
In 2006, Far From Normal Enterprises was sold and changed names to Far From Normal Supply, Inc.
In 2007, the need to "Branch out" struck again. This time we headed to White Bear Lake, Minnesota. This space will provide an excellent equipment showroom for demonstrations and a distribution point for shipping into Wisconsin cutting down the transit times.
